Orbograph Finalizes Star-Studded Speaker Line Up for Client Conference Featuring a Special Message by Former Governor Tommy Thompson
Billerica, MA, February 20, 2013 – Orbograph, a leading supplier of recognition solutions and fraud detection systems for the U.S. check processing market as well as end-to-end electronic payment solutions for healthcare revenue cycle management, today announced it has finalized its program content and session speakers for the company’s 14th Client Conference in New Orleans, LA on April 10–12, 2013.

The conference kicks off with a special message by former Governor Tommy Thompson of Wisconsin. Mr. Thompson is well known in the healthcare industry having previously served four years as the United States Health and Human Services Secretary.
The main conference content begins with a session focusing on the future of banking led by heavyweight payment consultants Lee Kidder and Vijay Balakrishnan. Mr. Kidder, Practice Director CCG Catalyst Consulting Group, former Chief Strategy Officer for Fiserv as well as founder of bank advisory consulting firm Bryn Maple Strategies will provide an outlook of the payments industry addressing both paper-based and electronic payment vehicles. Mr. Balakrishnan, President of StratEx, LLC, former Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Metavante Corporation, Executive Vice President of Alogent and industry innovator of teller image capture, deposit automation and remote deposit capture, will address the challenges which large financial institutions and community banks are facing with their capture platforms and describe strategies to maximize efficiencies as check volumes continue to migrate from centralized environments to distributed capture points such as teller, branch, RDC, ATM and mobile.
The future of healthcare revenue cycle management will be explored by healthcare consulting specialists Mark Brousseau and Lisa Mriscin. Mr. Brousseau, President of Brousseau & Associates, who recently led the Healthcare Payments Innovation Summit, is well versed in the regulatory impact on healthcare payments including medical lockbox processing, explanation of benefits and electronic/EDI payments. Mr. Brousseau will paint a picture of the payments horizon and address opportunities for solution providers as well as financial institutions. Ms. Mriscin, President of High Alignment Coaching, possesses 15+ years in medical banking sales and product design, working for various software providers and financial institutions. Ms. Mriscin will provide insight on how to best penetrate the market in revenue cycle management from a tactical standpoint. She will also lead a breakout session on identifying treasury opportunities and building a plan to sell services to this market.
Orbograph will present new information on next generation recognition technologies with a series of rapid fire presentations. Content will address new technology approaches, business case improvements, product positioning, new markets in RDC/Check Cashers/POS, EOB processing, 835 payments and fraud prevention developments, including a new initiative with Deloitte. The conference will take place during the French Quarter Festival, a local musical event highlighting New Orleans music, and will be included as part of the Orbograph program activities.
