We are bringing together a group of dynamic industry speakers for the 2018 Healthcare and Check Payment Technology Conference. 

Peter Davey

Peter Davey - Head of Innovation, The Clearing House

Peter Davey leads payment innovation at The Clearing House where he is responsible for working with financial institutions and partners to foster new and innovative concepts that propel the payment industry forward. He has a deep understanding of the payments industry, including rules and regulations around all payments networks, payments systems and technologies, and how these systems work.

Previous to The Clearing House, Peter was the Head of Payment Strategy Innovation & Industry at Capital One Financial Corporation. He provides thought leadership in many payment forums and speaking engagements across the industry and is a featured keynote speaker at many events.


Tom Dean - SVP and GM of B to B Payments, Change Healthcare

Tom Dean is SVP and GM of B to B Payments at Change Healthcare where he manages a division of the company that is charged with distributing payments worth about $130 Billion per year from healthcare payers to healthcare providers.  Prior to Change Healthcare from Revenue Management Solutions where he served as President and CEO for 6 years.  RMS is a leading provider of healthcare related cash management solutions to banks.  Prior to RMS, Tom served as CEO of Critical Technologies.  Critical Technologies is a specialized ASP archive service now a part of GE.  Prior to CTI Tom was Executive VP of Advanced Financial Solutions, a company providing payment processing solutions to banks.  Tom managed sales, marketing, implementations and business development.  During his seven years at AFS, Tom was instrumental in growing the company from $3 million in sales to $100 million in sales at the time the company was acquired by Metavante.


Paul A. Carrubba - Partner, Adams and Reese LLP

Paul Carrubba is Of Counsel in the law firm of Adams and Reese LLP.  His primary focus is on Banking Law and legal issues dealing with payments system laws and regulations and bank operations issues.  He has over 46 years of experience in the banking industry as a Bank Operations Manager, a consultant, an author, and an attorney.  Mr. Carrubba is the author of six books including: Revised UCC Article 3 and 4, A Banker’s Guide to Checks and Principles of Banking.  He is the co-author, with Dan Fisher, of both Remote Deposit Capture – Practical Considerations and most recently, Risk Management Series – Remote Deposit Capture.


John Leekley - CEO & Founder, Remote Deposit Capture

John has over 20 years experience in cash management, product management, strategy and development, and general banking. Prior to starting, John held positions at HSBC Bank USA, Bankers Trust / Deutsche Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting, and has conducted independent consulting engagements for numberous Financial Institutions. John has also served as an advisor to the FFIEC regarding RDC and RDC Risk Management. John earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Since founding, John has been a featured speaker at numerous industry user conferences, annual meetings, and industry gatherings. He is a primary resource to, and has been a featured speaker with the FFIEC, FDIC, US Treasury, Office of Thrift Supervision and the National Credit Union Administration. John was a key resource to the FFIEC and assisted in the development of the FFIEC's RDC Risk Management Guidelines and has trained of 1,200 audiors.

robert bowman

Robert Bowman - CORE Director, CAQH

Bob Bowman is the Director of CAQH CORE, a non-profit alliance of healthcare industry leaders whose mission is the creation and adoption of healthcare operating rules that support standards, accelerate interoperability, and align administrative and clinical activities among providers, payers and consumers. Bob oversees the CORE Rule development process; directs the CORE Certification program, which was designed to demonstrate adoption of the CORE rules; serves as a CORE liaison to the standard development organizations (SDOs); is a member of the Board of Directors of WEDI – Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange; and supports CORE’s industry education and outreach.  Prior to joining CAQH CORE, Bob served as the EDI manager for Humana, Inc.  He also worked as an implementation manager – implementing EDI, Web, and HIPAA projects for state, federal, and commercial clients across the country.

jeffrey daigrepont

Jeffrey Daigrepont - Senior Vice President, The Coker Group

Jeffery Daigrepont, EFMP, CMPE, is a senior vice president at Coker Group, specializes in healthcare automation, system integration, operations, and deployment of enterprise information systems for large integrated delivery networks. A popular national speaker, Jeffery is frequently engaged by highly-respected organizations across the nation, including many non-profit trade associations and state medical societies

Mr. Daigrepont authored a top-selling book, Complete Guide and Toolkit to Successful EHR Adoption, published by Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in 2011 and was a contributing author to Coker’s book, The Healthcare Executive’s Guide to ACO Strategy, published in March 2012. Mr. Daigrepont is often interviewed by various national media outlets and is frequently quoted in publications.

For FY09, Mr. Daigrepont chaired the Ambulatory Information Systems Steering Committee of HIMSS. In addition, as the Ambulatory Committee liaison for FY09 to the ACEC planning Committee, he represented the HIMSS Ambulatory and AISC members. Mr. Daigrepont is credentialed by the American Academy of Medical Management (AAMM) with an Executive Fellowship in Practice Management (EFMP).

Mr. Daigrepont also serves as an independent investor advisor to many of the nation’s top health care venture capitalist firms such as Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and Silver Lake Partners.


Tina Moen - Deputy Chief Health Officer, IBM Watson Health

Dr. Tina Moen has spent the last 15 years in the healthcare information technology industry providing clinical leadership to colleagues and clients in the US and abroad.   Dr. Moen serves as a Deputy Chief Health Officer with a key focus and leadership role in value-based care, evidence-based medicine and life sciences within IBM Watson Health.   Prior to IBM, she was VP of Client Strategy for Health Language, part of Wolters Kluwer Health.  In this role, she collaborated with clients to identify their terminology needs and worked to deliver a solution to "unlock" data and drive semantic interoperability across the enterprise.  Previously, Tina worked at Truven Health Analytics in a variety of roles.  She served as the VP of Provider Analytics, leading a team of data scientists and researchers responsible for creating/maintaining data and methodologies.  As Chief Clinical Officer for the Truven Provider business, Tina was responsible for clinical leadership for the clinical evidence and intelligent evidence product lines.  Tina led and contributed to a team of clinicians responsible for communicating the value proposition of Micromedex Solutions in domestic and international markets.  In addition, she led the Truven editorial staff, who are responsible for creating/maintaining content for evidence-based medicine solutions, including drug, disease, toxicology, patient education and surveillance solutions.  

Dr. Moen received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University.  Prior to moving into the healthcare information technology industry, she worked as a clinical pharmacist in the specialty areas of pediatrics, home healthcare, HIV, and organ transplantation.


Steve Gibson-Saxty - Industry Relations Manager, Endpoint Exchange

Steve Gibson-Saxty is the Industry and Client Relations Manager for FIS’s Image Exchange network - Endpoint Exchange. In this role he is responsible for both Account and Product management. Steve has been with FIS since 1996 supporting both international and domestic item processing projects. In 1999 he was instrumental in implementing one of the world’s first image exchange initiatives in Singapore. Steve is active in the US image exchange community with active participation in the Rules and Standards bodies, ECCHO and ANSI X9.

Prior to joining FIS Steve was Director of Engineering for a major manufacturer of high speed check reader sorters and participated in the design and implementation of several major Imaging Technology projects. As an engineer Steve developed process control firmware where his original work in high-speed power encoding earned him in a US Patent.


Greg Williams

Greg Williams - Principal Customer Success Manager, Qlik

Greg Williams, MSWENG, has worked in IT for over 22 years in a variety of management, development, and solution roles. Currently, Greg is a Principal Customer Success Manager at Qlik. Greg has experience helping hundreds of customers with their business intelligence and data analytics deployments. His primary focus is assisting Healthcare customers realize their return on investment from their Qlik platform deployment. The combination of his industry knowledge and his product expertise navigates his customers to achieve success with their data analytics strategies. As a former Java certified programmer and Microsoft certified systems engineer, certified trainer, project manager, test engineer, support analyst, and Healthcare presales manager; Greg’s experience provides an organization both holistic and myopic perspectives from development teams to executive leadership.


matt cunningham

Matt Cunningham - SVP - TRIPS Business Development, Deluxe Treasury Management Solutions

Matt Cunningham manages the business development efforts of TRIPS back office automation technologies at Deluxe Treasury Management Solutions. He delivers decades of unique, first-hand experience in bank operations management, corporate strategic planning and solution sales/marketing.  After spending 18 years in all areas of Bank Operations - the last of which with JPMorgan Chase - Matt left banking and began what has now become an almost 20-year career in designing and delivering solutions to the bank Back Office. Cunningham holds a degree in business administration and finance from New Mexico State University (the Harvard of the Southwest) and when not traveling on business, offices from his home in Collierville TN.

Martin Kennedy, PhD - Economist-on-Call, LinkedIn Profile

Martin Kennedy has taught economics, statistics, and econometrics at the college and graduate level as well as spearheaded multiple consulting projects. A survey of some recent applied work is available for review below. He works both on contract and via retainer relationships. 

Dr. Kennedy is the founder and director of The Tennessee Policy Market, a for-profit think tank. He also enjoys writing. His second novel is due out in 2018.

Jen Coriel - Corporate Economist, Top 5 Health Insurance Payer

Jen Kilgore Coriell is the Corporate Economist for one of the top 5 health insurers where her econometric models are used to forecast claim trends for Medicare and employer group products.  After earning her Master’s degree in Economics, she practiced macroeconomic modeling for 4 years and has since focused on the health care industry.



Rob Stewart - Director of Business Development, MTS Software Solutions

Rob has over 30 years of experience in the software and computer services industry, including over 28 years in banking. His consultative approach includes both expert development of transaction processing applications and superb client relationship management. Before joining MTS Software Solutions in April 2008, Rob was a Senior Sales Executive with Wausau Financial Systems and a Senior Relationship Manager at Fiserv in their imaging business unit. Other roles include system consulting, marketing, and sales, primarily focused on transaction processing for financial services organizations.

Wayne Koch - CEO, ProviderAlly

Wayne Koch is the President of two healthcare technology companies focused on automating the back-office of healthcare organizations as the industry transitions from a fee for service to a fee for value model. Wayne has spent his career in technology holding leadership positions at GatewayEDI (now Trizetto Provider Solutions), and various positions at IDX (currently GE Healthcare). He was the founder and CEO of Electronic Technologies, Inc. as well as his current ventures ProviderAlly, Inc. and PHIcure, Inc.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from RIT in Rochester, New York.


Vijay Balakrishnan - Vice President ePayments, Deluxe Corp

Vijay Balakrishnan is Vice President of ePayments with Deluxe Corporation. He leads the Deluxe ePayments business unit chartered with developing and marketing electronic payment solutions to businesses. Vijay has a successful track record of more than 30 years in payments and technology. He has held roles in product development, marketing, business development and general management with organizations of all sizes including Equifax, Metavante (now FIS), Deluxe and Alogent. His global experience includes business in more than 45 countries. Vijay holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Tony Fera - President & CEO, All My Papers

Tony Fera is the President and CEO of 3Core Software and All My Papers, Inc., both entities focused on serving the financial sector. Mr. Fera has over 35 years of leadership and financial experience including Chairman of the Investment Committee for a Federal Credit Union located in New Jersey and Director for a $1B technology company.

Before leading 3Core, Mr. Fera was a Controller for a $10B energy company, a Controller for a real estate development company and started his career working for the Big 5 CPA firm, KPMG, in both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles offices. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from Widener University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Temple University.


Trish Rivard, MBA - Principal Consultant, Eliciting Insights

Trish Rivard is accomplished leader in healthcare revenue cycle management and technology product development with a track record of success growing both top-line Revenue and EBITDA. She recently founded Eliciting Insights, a Market Research and Consulting company, to help healthcare providers, payers and technology companies with Process Reviews, Market Insights, Competitive Analysis, Strategic Assessments and Technology Roadmap Planning

Trish holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, where she graduated with honors. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Dartmouth College, where she graduated with high honors in Economics. Trish currently resides in Connecticut.
