Encouraging digital payments in the B2B space is not easy. While businesses are generally willing to sign on to a methodology that will demonstrably save them money, traditional benefits of float, control, and the barriers to digital payments keep checks active and prospering in the payment ecosystem.
Snapcheck is a company looking at ways to address B2B payments while not ignoring the prevalence of check payments.
“The main problem we’re looking at is bridging the digital divide in payments, especially for businesses,” Snapcheck’s Ken Kruszka told PYMNTS. He describes the continuing popularity of the paper check as “ludicrous,” but contends that they have their advantages.
